The US ARMY never used the repeating Winchester or any similar rifles as general issue as portrayed in this show. No one would have one as they didn't come out until 1870. The US ARMY still used muzzle loaders until 1871. Terrible historical inaccuracy.

Why is it so hard for American film makers to maintain historical accuracy and also display utter tactical stupidity. Why would Germans have a defensive line of machine guns in a tree line unmanned, behind themselves with the field of fire from the machine guns going toward their own camp? The Battle of the Somme was in 1916 not 1918. Also the war ended in early November 1918, but they have it snowing in the middle of winter. Then auctioning horses in France in British Pounds and not Francs? They change things because they think film goers are too stupid to know any better. Which is probably the case in the US.

The show gets more ridiculous. Episode where a guy is dead overboard at the equator. The team travel over 4000 odd km from Washington to the open sea near the equator to get there so fast that the body is still in the deck of the ship just after being retrieved from the sea. OMG they must have the fastest jet in the world to get there in 30 minutes or so. Instead of putting the body inside the ship they start a medical examination on the flight deck. This show has lost it's way big time.

Yet another pissweak attempt at Americans thinking that they can make comedy shows. I've had more laughs watching paint dry.

Really? What a ridiculous premise and plot? The script is tedious and lazy like all attempts by American producers to try and outdo the foreigners. It is visually painful with too much stuff done in the dark. Big tip! It doesn't add to the drama.
