Just finally got around to watching it. (Life has been hectic) We LOVED it. Totally would love to see another season. It was the perfect balance of facing expectations, both racial and of our own making, and of everything I loved about the chinese culture growing up. I cant say enough good stuff about the mix of martial arts with traditional chinese movie hints, anime geekiness of happiness, family types and coming of age. Loved watching this with my kids. Im too far removed generationally but still close enough to appreciate the absolutely perfect feeling I get watching it. And the lack of his ability to speak chinese.... Totally hit home. As 1st born American myself, I love this.
