I was starved of a good crime series for while until this came along. Sat down one day, saw it on my recommended, and decided to throw the dice. I am not usually one to bingewatch but this kept me going nonstop. From writing, to acting, to ambience, it was great.

It was a fantastic psychological horror/thriller. One that provokes profound thoughts. If you only watch horror movies for gore then this isn’t for you.

[SPOILERS] While the synopsis of the movie might tempt you to see the movie, just don’t. The start up until the middle of the movie was interesting enough but the ending just got blatantly idiotic. The main character kept making stupid decisions that ultimately led to an overly unnecessary, complex story line. For example, when she finally got hold of a weapon, she used it as leverage to get out but didn’t think of shooting the 2 perpetrators even though she had every reason to. Her stupid decision of sparing the perpetrator then led to another unnecessary death of the police officer. All in all, if you don’t mind frustrating storylines then maybe this won’t be a bad watch but personally, I say you can do better.

Seems like most negative reviews stem from the fact that they didn’t know it was a ‘whodunnit’ 😂😂😂.

I feel like the negative reviews are being too critical about the movie in regards to the plot point. At the end of the day, it is a continuation of the story with the same family. Can’t be expecting them to stray too far from previous plot points. I liked that the characters were portrayed more maturely. It’s not a movie that will shift the paradigm of horror but for what it is, it still is a good watch.
