The storyline was confusing, it wasn't accurate to any superman origin comic or show. The only reason people went to see this is cause of Krypto, which James gunn had forced alot of humor into . Zack Snyder was alot better than James Gunn and should be still directing his Justice league. James Gunn had put the same story plot of "Guardians of the galaxy " into what was supposed to be a reboot of Superman. James Gunn needs to also STOP USING CHRISTOPHER REEVES SUPERMAN and family for ways to get praise for this trash. How is this even a great Superman start movie when it's not only about Superman.

This movie is better than James Gunn's Superman. The director of this movie sticked to the original movie script and turned it into exactly a live action movie.

Idk why people hated this movie maybe it's only Rotten tomatoes being them, The Marvels was a great hilarious action movie, i wish I could have watched it in theaters. Others need to stop telling people to not go to these movies with their favorite childhood actors and actresses and themselves need to actually watch The Marvels.
