Too many stories squashed into too short of a time. I love the scenery and the attempt at history but the plots lines are garbled and there are only 2 characters I can feel any connection or empathy for. The "french" characters are all portrayed by British or American actors- I'd have liked a bit more authenticity. Very disappointed but not sure if its the production or the story itself. But the next time I'm vacation in the Quebec area, I will try to visit the area where this was filmed..
