Shock to Awe is a moving, gritty, intensely personal and important story. Conventional approaches to PTSD treatment had been useless and the pharmacopoeia they'd been enduring was staggering for its toxicity and overwhelming volume. What will come as a surprise to some is that they found smoking marijuana could replace all of the conventional drugs they were taking to far more salutary effect.
