Holy cow what a great movie. Great acting, ridiculously tight & suspenseful script. No, it's not a murder mystery or a spy thriller or John Wick. If you need that, watch that. But this movie gripped me from the beginning & never let go. Great directing. Great photography. If you don't like it, that's OK.

1932. Who would have guessed that they could make such a good movie? Don't read reviews & spoil the plot. Just watch it.

Totally worth watching more than once. First, the direction ( Robert de Niro) was outstanding. Second, the acting was outstanding. It was one of those movies that once you watch five minutes of it, you're hooked. The story was really interesting. If you like spy movies, you have no choice: it's a total must see. And not because it's "historical" or "educational ", but because it's a damn good entertaining movie. Angelina Jolie was great in this. And as a bonus, there's some pretty dramatic life lessons in it, too. For those people who rated it poorly, all I can say is, they were probably expecting an Indiana Jones action thriller.
