Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is arguably Marvel's best-made film since the Avengers.
In the first two films of the series, the director left a lot of suspense about the identity of the Rocket for the audience, but this one lets the audience fully understand the past and origin of the rocket.
89P13, this code name, was the name when Rocket was born with.
Countless other animals have been experimented with the rocket, but the rocket is undoubtedly the most successful. Although Evolutionary is paranoid that Rocket is still the result of failed experiments, it cannot ignore the brilliant mind of Rocket.
Rocket escaped, but his best friends were killed.
Joining the Guardians of the Galaxy, he tried to forget that painful experience, but Evolutionary's pursuit of Rocket never stopped.
In Nowhere, he was nearly killed by the warlock Adam wounded, the team members in order to save Rocket, set foot on the journey to find Rocket's origin.
In the movie, we feel Rocket's self-abasement and loneliness, so he wants to get others' attention through his hot temper and vitriol. Fortunately, not a single member of the Guardians of the Galaxy has abandoned him, and he will have family and warmth in the squad.
Nebula and Rocket are best friends, they both have the experience of being transformed; Mantis looks weak but she is the team's stabilizer; Drax, though big and silly, has sensitive feelings and is a good father. Gamora, though sacrificed to the Soul Gem during the Infinity War, must harbor deep inside her memories of fighting alongside the Guardians of the Galaxy; Quill still plays funny, but he always plays captain.
Gamora did indeed suffer amnesia and returned to the Marauders after the battle; Star-lord follows Mantis's advice and returns to Earth to live with his grandfather; Mantis finds what he wants to do with her new pet; Drax refuses to give up, but remains in Nowhere to care for the children of other planets; Nebula also stayed behind in Nowhere to help with the rebuilding effort. Kraglin lived up to Yondu's faith and restored the Yaka Arrow to its glory.
The story of the Guardians of the Galaxy will continue as Rocket, chosen as the new captain, along with new members like Cosmer and Claglin, continues to guard the Galaxy. And the legendary Star-Lord will be coming back.
"Is the team breaking up?"
"No, you're the captain."
