Maharshi
My rating 3/5. One man show. Mahesh all the way.
Another day, another director, another experiment.
The story portrayed the highs and lows of the journey of Rishi.
First half was decent with entertainment, pre interval dragged the pace down.
Second half picks up towards the climax.
Overall, the movie is a treat for fans. Regular movie goers might feel impatient due to slow paced narration and lack of entertainment.
There's a nice message which lifts the mood of the audience toward the end which let's the film end on a high note.
Padara Padara is a huge boost to the film.
Naresh was brilliant and did an outstanding job.
Pooja Hegde was more in the first half and had no scope in the second.
There's a lot of depth in the story and I thought Vamshi lost his way at times trying to hide what he was trying to tell. And he failed in etching commercial elements in the script. One unnecessary fight can be trimmed, which has no real sense to the screenplay but was injected.
Jai Babu. Thank you, for not giving another disaster.
