Gulsen Heran

This book explores themes of self-discovery, danger, and unexpected romance. Alexandra is a powerful badass character who defies traditional gender roles and challenges societal norms. She has a likeable personality with her wit and cunning mind. I love the chemistry that ends up progressing throughout the book. With the authors writing style and twists and turns, this was an easy and mesmerizing read.

The book wasn’t horrible, I finished it which is a good sign. There was cringy moments but that’s not surprising with rom com books. The story was definitely not very realistic. The book was longer than it needed to be and there was so many extra parts that did not need to be put in. There was way too many unnecessary characters. After Knox broke up every single character had to put their two sense in which made the book go on and on. It was also hard to believe that everyone is supporting the new girl when they don’t even know her. There was still good parts in the book that were page turners. But overall I wish it was just shorter or at least focused on other things.

0 star. The writing was horrible, the story was very sad and I really tried to finish the book but it was written so poorly. The author is just saying the same thing over and over again. The perspective of who’s telling the story was not to my liking. I was waiting for the perspective to change but it never did. I don’t understand the high ratings on this book and I’m disappointed.

Beautifully written. Emotional, heartbreaking, and love.

I can’t decide on 3.5-4 stars. The book was a little predictable but still a page turner. I do have mixed feelings about the ending. It felt more like an ending to a chapter than an ending to a book. But I can also clearly imagine what happens next. Overall, it was good.
