As a due hard soccer fan who has actively watched the sport for at least a decade having also watched soccer documentaries I can say for a fact that the anime is incredibly accurate in terms of tactics, game preparation and in-game decision making. I play the sport myself and I can relate to it. Of course there are some attributes that are exaggerated but that’s what gives this show it’s much needed dramatic elements. I would recommend for anyone who actually follows the sport. It’s also thought provoking because the ideology of every player having weapons makes perfect sense because truly footballers have traits that make them stand out.
