This film does not need my review to improve it's rating because it speaks for itself. Pure, 1980's nostalgia at it's finest! The piano scene where Tom Hanks and Robert Loggia play a duo 'Heart & Soul" on the foot piano is simply the single greatest moment in cinematic history! I was merely a kindergartener the first time Iwad introduced to this film and have rewatched it over 70 times since. A classic that never gets old upon viewing! Sweet Jesus, how I miss the late 80's/90's! They do not make family friendly classics like this anymore, and what a shame that is!a pure gold people!

One of Sandlers better movies. Not as great as Spanglish (different director) but heartfelt, comical family movie none-the-less. The script wasn't written by Adam Sadler, which is always a plus. Sandler has the mentality of a 10 year old. If he sticks to acting and leaves the screenplay, producing, directing, etc to professionals the movie generally does better.
