Leslie Moriarty

In my 67 years I’ve seen a lot of dramas, but The Untamed put me through the wringer…a gauntlet of emotions. Four months later I’m still reeling. I fear I’ll never recover. Low budget, and unfortunately bad CGI with no real known actors, I wasn’t expecting the “perfect storm”. If you can make it past the first few episodes, (it’s a bit confusing but will make sense later) Excellent character acting makes this worth it, beautiful music and costumes (beautiful actors, too!) and a strong script. I have since read the novel and realized they followed the story pretty faithfully as far as Chinese censorship would allow. Definitely worth the watch.
