Its always the same exact story, an overly melo dramatic MC, orphaned as a child, with incredible powers, overlooked for years, elder mentor sees them through, they fight against them selves as much as the antagonist, awkward sexual tension with friend, ring a bell, harry pottter, Star Wars. I’m exhausted by MC’s that gripe and complain over having to do the right thing. Couldn’t even get through the first episode. This is a great example of a story line that has been rinsed washed and repeated one too many times. If you need to turn off your brain and not think about the story line this one will do the job. Flashy magic, cinagraphic imagery, an obvious big bad. I just can’t any more, I need something better to justify spending my time on.
