gone from 5 star season one to two star season 2. Brilliant watch, the cast, crew, story, cinematography, all outstanding. my only real disappointment so far is learning that the FL will be replaced for season 2. I believe that will be a mistake, and should be rethought. I cannot imagine the FL as anyone else, the actress is extremely good and IS Naksu/Mu-deok even if the characters/ souls separate in future episodes there will be NO continuity if you change the actress. Season 2 my worst fears has come to pass. Never in my wildest dreams did i think season 2 would be so bad. We have Jin Buyoen/ Naksu's soul in Naksu's original body but we are told that Naksu soul will disappear and Jin Buyoen soul will remain in Naksu's original body how this makes sense i know not. Though where naksu's original body was found given that it was cremated in the first series to prevent naksu returning there is no explanation just a 3 year gap to explain away the lack of continuity in anything. Mu deok's body Jin Buyeon original body is still stored somewhere. Will i bother to watch the final 2 episodes, probably just out of curiosity incase it makes more sense. The actors they did the best they could with a bad script/storyline. I really feel for them.

Just finished watching ELOD and i found it an absolute delight. You go through all the emotions sadness sorrow, frustration, smiles and laughter. With a terrific ending. The music seems to set the mood for each scene perfectly. The dialogue is brilliant, please please no dubbing of this, it is much much better to hear the actors voices,the emotions, the ML and FL have wonderful speaking voices, and it isn't too difficult to read the Eng Subs. infact i found all the actors where great, making you believe in their characters, the actions scenes are terrific. As a rather old person with a young heart i will rewatch this when i need my spirits lifting. Many thanks to all the actors and the behind the scenes crew for giving us such a memorable experience.

Outstanding, beautiful, moving, joyous, bringing laughter and tears, the two ML were brilliant, there was a great rapport between them. the rest of the cast were also excellent helping the story to shine.

i really enjoyed the storyline with this with subtitiles, i have revisited it this time to watch again and was really looking forward to it HOWEVER it has now been dubbed which is fine if the voices used were something like the actors voice but they are not. for the FL we have gone from a fairly strong voice, to a softish voice with an american accent. I am sure there are korean people who speak good english. Nothing nicer at least for me and probably many others to listen to english spoken with a foreign accent.

Much enjoyed, well worth watching. Very interesting story woven around historical events. Here i go again i will have to read more of the real history of Korea. I do love history. The actors all performed exceptionally well particularly the ML and FL. I do hope there is a season 2 or perhaps a special of some sort to continue the story. A brilliant wonderful drama that takes you though all sorts of emotions. it is a masterpiece. ML and FL acting is just so believable they are stunning. I cannot praise this drama enough. I am an English speaker and i have to read the subtitles but the emotions expressed need no words. Thank you so much to the cast and crew for producing such an outstanding drama which i will watch again and again. Lee joon gi his acting was just on another level altogether just stunning.

Much enjoyed and entertained. The ML and FL were excellent in there roles infact the whole cast were very good which made viewing relaxed and easy. I prefer to go for the overall feel of something i watch and not dissect the roles too much. I laughed I cried, I found the story very entertaining. Many thanks to all the cast and crew for such an excellent series.

brilliant, much enjoyed, very easy to watch. The lead couple are outstanding. infact i cannot fault any of the cast for their performances. the story flowed nicely with lovely touching moments, a little sadness here and there, along with smiles and laughter. I will definitely watch again when my spirits need a lift. many thanks to the cast an crew for such and enjoyable watch.

`brilliant, good story, interesting characters, really well acted by all the cast. The FL i have seen before and maintained her excellent skills as an actress. the ML is equally brilliant. He has a beautiful speaking voice, i wonder if he sings as well. Great action scenes. The villains are wonderfully villainous, there are also many amusing moments which make you smile. All in all i really enjoyed this, it is very entertaining. I will definitely watch this again. fingers crossed they never dub this and leave it alone with subtitles.
