This game was tough to review because you can tell the devs tried reeeeeally hard....but ultimately failed. I see a lot of 5/5 scores which is legitimately laughable. It started off pretty badass, you get to pick a character to use (red hood, Robin, Batgirl and Nightwing) ...yup, 4 characters that 80% of us couldn't care less about. At first look the fighting looks and feels pretty cool, the hits look vicious and when you hit an enemy it really looks like you hit them hard ya know...so that's kind of cool. But after the novelty is gone the game goes downhill. They took a lot of elements from the Arkham games which is alright with me, they took those elements (vehicle mechanics, some fighting mechanics etc etc) and threw them in the toilet ruining everything they had to offer. This game boils down to your everyday "go here grab that" then "go here beat those guys" and repeat...thats it. I haven't finished this game yet only been playing roughly 5 or so hours so this review might be premature but I don't see it getting any better. This game feels incredibly rushed, half-assed and ultimately turns out to be another boring mission driven, wannabe beat'em up type games. If you can grab it for maybe $10 do it...anything more I'd pass.

I'm only a few hours into the game but so far what a disappointment. One of my biggest fears/dislike with stealth FPS or just stealth games in general is that the enemy is incredibly hyper aware of where you are at all times. Cloaking does absolutely nothing, only time its effective is when you duck somewhere in a corner and don't move at all. Even ducking behind a wall while cloaking they'll still hear you and begin looking around. You walk for 1.5 seconds while cloaking and your energy is next to gone. So throw stealth completely out the window for this game because you'll be on one end of the radar with the enemy literally on the exact opposite side of the radar and you'll still hear "huh? What was that? I heard something" yet you approached your position while cloaking with not a soul around (except for the dude with god-like ears on the other side of the radar) Samething with gun fights, you'll get the drop on the enemy, line them up and with a silencer attached, kill them. But wait, somehow 30 enemy soldiers heard your silenced gun shot from so far away they aren't even on your radar yet, half a second later your radar is flooded with enemies. (I know the whole tagging system and radar are inter-connected but play the game for 20 minutes and you3ll see what im talking about) My rating might change the more I play but I doubt it

You have to really want to play the game in order to enjoy it to its fullest. The storyline is decent, by far the worst thing about this game is the endless amount of grinding. Normal grinding is ok but nah the grinding this game takes is unnecessary. When you have to do the same mission 30 - 40+ times and maybe you'll get what you're after, but maybe not, it's too much. It sucks the fun out of the game.
