I’ve been a Harry Potter fan since I was a kid. And I finally felt like I went to Hogwarts!!! Amazing on every front (except graphics of the characters- completely forgivable with everything else). I was surprised and awed. I didn’t know what was going to happen and Hogwarts felt new but familiar!! All the little Easter eggs in the little nooks and crannies of the castle were outstanding and magical. Not only the old lore I know about but added to the lore as well. The fight style was surprisingly really fun! I could tailor it to how I wanted to play. It was fast paced and challenging. The story was exceptional. Only downsides: couldn’t play quidditch, couldn’t ride dragons. It was too short. Other than that best game I’ve played in a long time and my HP fan says EPIC!

Mirage seems like a watered down version of all the great improvements from the last 3-4 games. Basim is presented as a boring, flat character. A street thief who wants to join some rebels…and has some nightmares. That’s all I’ve got at 75% completion. The stealth is a tad more challenging. Baghdad is beautiful and the dense areas are pretty cool. But the vendors don’t really sell me anything I’m interested in. I can level up or upgrade my tools very quickly. The graphics are okay, good but not better than what we’ve seen and not even better than some of their former games. Origins had just as good if not better graphics. As a game I give this 3/5. As an AC game, 2/5. Play one of the other ones. I’ve played nearly all the AC games. My all time favorite is AC Odyssey where they pushed the limits of the AC universe and overarching story line as well as stellar character development. Odyssey had it all. Valhalla had some interesting fight style and some near DLC. But Odyssey just set the RPG expectations so high. I don’t know if they’ll ever beat it.
