I'm trying to get into this storyline. It's interesting and I want to see it develop. Everyone seems to be forgettingTariq has killed twice. He is young. I think once we see the conclusion of how he gets Tasha out of jail and how all this works out, then they can develop his storyline more. The holdup to the story of Tariq is hindered by Tasha's predicament. The writers are showing Tariq is wise beyond his years. Also, he is eighteen so where else would you develop his story. You have to think about it, everything can't be perfectly written, but the boy is carrying a full load, doing Zeke's work, and running a drug business all while trying to get his mother out of jail and function as a student. I will say this I have no idea where these writers are going with this drama. I also think the relationship between Everett and Dru is irrelevant. Some of the stuff is intriguing, but the plot has holes.
