This films detail in attractable characters and time capsule sets should not be overlooked. every role down to the cigarette sucking deputy was fun to watch, surrounded in a beautifully edited 80s slasher environment.

I feel the theme of the trilogy got a bit lost with this finale, and I was disappointed with the surprise directing preacher father with his crew of strapped cult members
•A partial bias due to my grown attraction towards Kevin Bacon's character being the antagonist (absolutely loved that character and performance)
*Favorite part of the movie was the demise of Kevins character horrifying, satisfactory, and creative

I feel this film was visually extraordinary and suffered in the departments of villains/villain motive and lack of potential on Maxines future, I feel her hunger for fame could have lead her to much darker horrors of Hollywood, and could have produced a better theme of the worlds glamour for youth and rejection of age as previously themed in X and Pearl.
I think Maxxxine could have gone to greater lengths but none the less an entertaining watch
