A mixture of cliches and familiar tropes. There's a weak premise about a jaded photojournalist who intends to put herself in extreme danger to get the shot of a defeated POTUS. There's the young hotshot who learns valuable life lessons along the way. There's even the old black man who gives sage advice, then dies saving the protagonists. It's all stuff we've seen and heard before, just with a quickly applied veneer depicting this nation's demise. It's well-shot and well-acted, but there's really no point to it. It feels like a money-grab exploiting the current state of affairs in our country.
