To all those who hate movie, you are just not used having such a male lead and that's that. Newt Scamander is a kind of guy who faces life not with a heroic streak but with empathy. He is shy, nurturing and yet strong enough to fight for what he loves. This movie was meant to give an insight into why Grinderwald is dangerous as in the first movie he wasn't exactly himself, so there is no point of complaining about how the tone of the movie is confusing. Also, a lot of time is spent exploring Leta's character, who dies but it was instrumental in knowing about Newt's childhood and his relationship with his brother. Furthermore, IT'S A GOOD MOVIE and all you have to do is keep all your traditional expectations from fantasy movies aside and watch it as a new experience.
