Too dramatic and tragic for my taste, in general not a bad story but at the same time in my opinion the plot is very unrealistic and weird to the point of being a little bit ridiculous sometimes, I guess this is a typical European movie (Hearstone is similar and European as well). How can someone empathize with the characters in this movie? Specially with Leo, i mean it is obvious that what he went through was terrible but meh, I don’t know how to explain it, like I felt everything happened so fast that I couldn’t connect with the boys. I really wanted to know much more about remi. Why he killed himself? This movie failed on this, perhaps the suicide could have been a better thing as the ending scene, not in the middle of the movie, this would have make a lot of sense if I had seen more about both of them and see how their friendship deteriorated more with the passing of time, the film lacked realism, maybe poor development of characters, lack of context and again, too much drama. Lukas dhont has potential, girl was a nice movie but this one needed a different outcome, it could have been a better film though.
