As a huge fan of mockingbird I was super excited about this book with a spicy Scout in the future. But about midway through the book becomes dismal as everyone is racist and some major characters are ruined. It was a “coming of age” in a sense with Scout discovering things she missed as a child, but I was saddened to learn that Harper Lee wrote the plot this way. This novel left me disappointed ☹️
