They literally whitewashed the role then blackfaced the mixed-race woman chosen. She is portraying a dark-skinned black woman who was degraded and hated because of her skin color/complexion. I beg filmmakers to not make movies about cultures you don't understand or respect. This movie is disrespectful to black women who still face racism and colorism and especially to Nina.
