Absolutely loved the action-packed, funny, and wacky movie. Overall, this is a fun and colorful movie to watch with wonderful actors playing classic comic book characters in a fresh, new way suited for this current context. Harley’s narration of the movie really gets viewers into her mindset. She’s not perfect, nor a hero and that’s what makes her character so enjoyable. The depictions of Black Canary, Huntress, Detective Montoya, and Cassandra Cane are also amazing, even though some characters deviated from the source material (they are all still great in the film). The movie did well with diverse representation on screen and the stunts our badass ladies mostly do themselves are well done with their fun outfits. What the film does wonderfully shows how they emancipate themselves instead of relying on others procuring it for them.
