This has become my favorite album of all time! And let me tell you why! 😌 (along with TTPD which she put out a couple months ago) Starting with just the name “evermore” how can you hear that and not be immediately intrigued and interested? 😍 Also for ‘folklore’ and ‘evermore’ to be sister albums, Taylor made the names fit and differ from each other perfectly. 👌🏾 Now to get into the actual content of this album, the lyrics are the biggest thing here! This is Taylor’s best written album! So if you aren’t a lyrics person maybe it’s not for you but I still suggest giving it a try! 🤍 From songs like ‘champagne problems’ , ‘happiness’ , ‘cowboys like me’ , etc… her songwriting and story telling abilities really shine✨ ! She is able to take you places and paint you a vivid picture using beautifully constructed words. Every word has a meaning and this is the reason why you could sit for hours analyzing just one song from this album and constantly discover new meanings or double entendres. This album is fictional so Taylor pushed herself to explore many different stories making this album endlessly interesting and unique! Champagne problems- a failed proposal 🫠 Happiness- the end of a long term relationship but knowing you’ll eventually recover 🥲 Dorothea- a beautiful friendship you know you’ll always have 🤍 Cowboy like me- finding love but not knowing if it’s real 😓 Right where you left me- the inability to move on ⌛️ tis the damn season- having the love of your life waiting for you when you come back home but always leaving again. 🥺 And etc! Also sonically evermore is so soothing, the lyrics will make you sob but the melody and rhythms will make you loose track of time as you stare at the ceiling. This album also has a warm feeling to it even tho it gives autumn/ winter vibes! This is the kind of album you make your comfort album, it’s the kind you put on when you had a bad day! It’s the kind that never leaves the #1 spot! Sorry this is so long, but I could genuinely talk about this album for days! Taylor you outdid urself and I hope you’re as proud of yourself for making this album as I am! 😘 With so much love 💗 - Patricia

I truly did not think anything could’ve ever overthrown ‘evermore’ as my favorite album, especially 8 hours after it’s released but I think it just happened. I expected this to either tie or kick midnights out of #3 but it might have taken the #1 spot because it’s just THAT good! 😫 The standard edition alone is just phenomenal, the lyrics, the harmonies, the flow, the production, the vocals, LITERALLY EVERYTHING! 🫶🏽 Throughout this whole album I was just continuously surprised and amazed. I haven’t felt this strong about an album this new in like ever. From songs like MBOBHFT, down bad, so long, London, but daddy I love him…I was gonna list songs but I realized I would just list all 31 songs. 🙃 Yes, you heard me right 31! But she didn’t make it all one long album, no. SHE DID A DOUBLE ALBUM SURPRISE DROP! 😱 The 2nd album just adds something to the 1st part that I wasn’t aware it needed! This album is genuinely everything and if you love when songs focus and prioritize lyrics and story telling, I cant recommend this enough. 💗 You’re not to old or cool to listen to Taylor Swift, no one is. There’s such a variety of songs on this album but they are also very cohesive!! I have to specifically shout out a few songs (I’m missing sooo many but these are some of my top favs) Chloe or sam or Sophia or Marcus, but daddy I love him, I can do it with a broken heart and I hate it here!!!! 😭😭😭😭 I cried, laughed, empathized, smiled and just went through all the emotions!!! Okay this review is too long and all over the place🫣 so just one more thing then I’ll end it lmao. Taylor, you really killed it with this one. You should be so proud, I know I am. You really clocked everyone…even us, and we all deserved it😂 anyways love u🤍😝

I really do love Beyoncé and the majority of her other albums but this one was not it. Before I start I just wanna say that I listened at least 4 times and I am not hating because it’s “not country” thats just racist, but this is coming from a genuine place. Coming from a blk women I understand all the history, importance and meaning behind a lot of the songs and appreciate it however, the execution could’ve been a lot better. I love the idea of an album the defies the concept of a genre but this one just feels messy and all over the place. This is a smaller critique and isn’t effecting my rating but I think the album title is a bit on the nose. Cowboy= country Carter= Beyoncé. I played this while on a road trip with my whole Beyoncé living family and I had to constantly convince them to finish it. They all wanted to just take it off cause it was that bad. There are a few good songs like 16 carriages, II most wanted and maybe bodyguard. But I would not listen to the whole album again. I didn’t enjoy how many interludes there were, making it an album that’s not rlly fun to shuffle and I didn’t like the 2 covers. This just made the album too long. I think she should’ve just made a 16 track album with the strongest songs, instead of including ones that kinda feel like fillers. I went back and forth multiple times between a 1 star or 2 and I decided on 1 because I am genuinely surprised at how much I dislike this and would not listen again. I hope Beyoncé the best of luck at the Grammys as I’m sure she will get AOTY🤍
