Full disclosure, I loved all the matrix movies and the overall question(s) posed by them. A full generation later, we have a continuation of this story to remind older audiences of how we first felt when we learned what The Matrix is and to hopefully spark a mental freedom for the new generations that have been so absolutely absorbed by the Matrix. The world I grew up in (80s/90s) was so prehistoric it would seem to the world we live in today. So the ideas of the original Matrix almost seem like a premonition to the world that was to come almost over night. I have only watched this once so far but I will watch it again to fully unpack the continuing message(s)/question(s) that everyone will have to answer for themselves. And if you are new to this, be prepared to do some self reflection on the life you have lived to this point. Any negative comments / reviews you can assume are from the "Sheeple" not ready to face reality.
