Sorry but this a load of twaddle regarding the ship operation . As a serving officer for 42 years, 15 as chief officer, there in no way I or any other officer would be allowed to spend so much time nor carrying out numerous other duties. Also the vessel seems to spend a huge amount of time in port, most cruise ships arrive in the morning and leave at night, very occasionally overnighting. Whilst I never served on a passenger ship it would be impossible to leave the bridge whilst on duty, as featured in this weeks case except in a dire emergency . Certainly not at the call of ships entertainer. I enjoy the crime scenes but the shipboard scenes leave me cringing due to there improbablety.
