Hard to follow at first, but then it was predictable. I told my daughter it felt like a not so good movie version of This is Us, not realizing until the credits that Dan Fogelman wrote it. I choked up a little towards the end, even though I was conscious of my emotions being manipulated and his intent to tie the story together in a neat unrealistic bow. I was disappointed in the writer’s obnoxious stereotyping of Rodrigo’s American girlfriend that added nothing to the story.
