I have so much respect (ha!)for Aretha Franklin, and so much more after seeing this movie and witnessing her rise to stardom. Jennifer Hudson does an excellent job and the music was outstanding. Parts of it, listening to her voice, just gave me the chills. Aretha’s talent and strength and humility through it all are tops.
