Really? This is so bad I'm even insulted by the characterizations of John Wilkes Booth and Andrew Johnson! Aside from the terrible mismatch in casting, from the clean-shaven, youthful Stanton to the cringe-inducing Lincoln, the bad script and confusing time jumps the others have mentioned, how about Liz Keckley calling Stanton 'Edwin,'?! Stanton picking out Lincoln's gravesite?! - Mr. L decided on Oak Hill Cemetery before he left Springfield and Mary never had any intention of burying him elsewhere - Southern senators in attendance and applauding at Johnson's swearing in?! PHEW!
One comment about Stanton's famous quote though - most often it is repeated as 'now he belongs to the ages.' But John Hay reported hearing him say 'now he belongs to the angels.' Wish there was someone we could ask.
