One of my favorite movies of all time for historic / time travel action genre. Or almost any genre. Unfortunately some of the sequels took the premise and distorted it instead of extending and expanding it. Like many sequels of a hit movie, the writing gets diluted almost to the absurd, even for a fantasy.
