What a terrible movie! I had to stop watching. Everything about Japan is so fake! I didn’t see any emotional connection between Kate and V or Kate and Ani. Why would a young girl like Ani feel something deep for a psycho stranger like Kate? Maybe I should’ve enjoyed this as an action movie, but I was distrusted by cheep-made and unnatural background, music, and script. Actually, I thought some action scenes were good. But unlike John Wick, Kate didn’t loose her family or puppy. She kept saying “no kids” but didn’t hesitate to kidnap the kid. For the most crucial fact, she was unbelievably unprofessional when she got poisoned. She spent one-night with a random not-so-hot guy and drank a glass of red wine in one go. (And what’s the point of memorizing his address after being so careless?) She should be mad at herself, not someone else!
