I'm very disappointed 😞. I was really excited about the fact that it's female haulk but crushed and annoyed that is the only thing the writers kept focus on. This could have been sooo much more. Can this be re written and re done. I've been watching hoping it gets better but honestly..it's as if they just wrote this and called it a day to fill in time. We want she haulk just not the multiple undertone messaging of main stream feminism. As a female I understand it's "she" haulk but there is no need to keep breaking down the female aspect and trying to showcase the feminist worse nightmare. This could have been sooo good. She is smart, pretty, has a heart of gold and has all the abilities of haulk but better. Yet the storyline is wrapped and based on how the male is the villain and she is being shamed for doing things males do. There was no deep storyline or mystery that kept me hooked. I watched it till the end in hopes it would get better but left disappointed of what it could have been. She could of had an actual villain that challenged her as a person first not a female first. As a female I'm disappointed this character wasn't given the same chance and respect of a great, inspiring and superhero worthy challenge as the rest of them. There was no exploration of her as Jennifer or Jennifer exploring her new found identity. Never read the comics but it has to have been better then this writing. Please rewrite and bring her back. Also, I was hoping the interaction with the audience would stop or be very limited but nope. It created an awkwardness. I believe people watch superhero shows or movies to be inspired and escape into a different world. The commentary didn't help. Just want to watch, wonder and discover what's coming not betold or narrated what is coming.
