If I was still 16 years old I would have loved this film but as a woman of 50+ I found it very superficial and saccharin sweet. The theme of the story - the woman’s husband and sister are killed in a car crash and it transpires that they were together because they were having an affair. The emotional fall out for all those concerned should have been emotionally catastrophic but the characters dealt with it too lightly In my opinion. I would recommend it for a mature teenager but for adults it didn’t have enough emotion or substance.
