The first season was interesting and the location is unique. Why did the owner take all of these old buildings and place them on this property? It makes total sense that some of the buildings would be haunted given they have a dark history.
I do question the validity of Tim Wood. He discusses things about the property or the family with the producers and other investigators, but hesitates to tell the actual people living on the property. Then, he finally reveals his thoughts and pulls back like it was a huge mistake. For instance, Tim shows Karen the drawing of the “demon” but doesn’t want to show her two adult children. That becomes a whole dramatic moment. Tim behaves this way throughout season one and it seems very amateur and impulsive. His actions annoyed me throughout the season. I kept asking “Why did he say it if he wasn’t sure?” Or “ Why does he want to hide that information? Just tell the family!”
There were also moments where they kept saying the location has “so much activity” but they lacked evidence. Sure, they had EVP’s, but I don’t know how credible they were.
