I relate this to The Love of a triune God. God gave us everything thru Christ Jesus as the tree did in this story. Tho the boy took all that was offered and visited when his heart was heavy, in the end he came back, as he always did when he needed comfort and strength,to the one who always supplied his need. Great story when looked at in the right perspective.
