I am not a very good critic, but I can tell you how much I enjoyed reading this trilogy, I was so immersed in the magic of the LPA wolves and their adventures. The harrowing past of Gabriel and Maxwell? Yes, I cried. I honestly can't tell you who I hated more, Richard, Stone or McCready, good riddance, sorry not sorry.
I thoroughly enjoyed the themes of bigotry, racism and supremacy in how the real world works. The hate on the wolves, hybrids and their animosity towards those who deemed themselves superior. It felt like X-Men met Heartstopper but with a wolfy twist. The warmth in this story was palpable, each character was well-written and interesting in their own right. My favourite? Why by the moon, the goddess herself of course. Every mention of hers served to ignite intrigue and when we finally met? Do you know how hyped up I was with that one particular scene where Amaris displays why she is a deity? You get it, I love her.
To cut a long-winded story short, I loved the books to bits. They are raw, fun, rich, mystical, sexy, steamy, powerful and woven into one heck of a story by a talented writer. Thank goddess for CJ Ravenna for these masterpieces❤️
A definite 10/10.
