They say nobody is perfect. But nobody is perfect in this entire punjabi family. Father is having a extra-marital affair. Daughter is getting married to a person other than the one she is in love with. Son is getting a divorce from his wife. Anil Kapoor and Manish lite the screen during their respective comedy scenes. I was put off by the customes and disrespect for the traditions. When kiara comes to the temple along with Neetu, there is no bindi on her face and no taali on her neck. A pre climax scene has Varun throwing water on the sacred fire around which a couple are taking sapta padi(he cud have thrown it on anil kapoor). Again, in the end, arranged marriage couple apply for divorce, the love marriage couple sought their differences. Hmm. Era of wokism. Don't support such movies

For a moment, I thought this was a Malayalam comedy film. This turns out to be a good homage to the kung fu movies made in the ninties. The story is a simple revenge story of a brother sister duo taking revenge for the killing of their family. But the action scenes are beautifully choreographed. The idea of setting a revenge drama in a peaceful himalayan atmosphere pays off. The leading lady and the villain have acted quite well. Hero kicks well but needs some more lessons on acting. The music fits the bill. Definitely a must for action movie lovers

Had lots of expectations from the Rishab Shetty movie, but was disappointed. Compared to the big budget nonsenses, this is a superior movie. Individual parts are good, but as a whole, it flatters. Rishab shetty comes to a estate to give it's owner a haircut. His real intention is to kill the girl who he believes had deserted him. But the lady is sitting over her husbands dead body and it's up to the hero to clean up the mess. Did I mention that the ladys husband is a dreaded rowdy and the house is full of bloodthirsty killers. Everything goes fine until the pair runs into the forest. After that, even the director was looking for ideas to take the movie forward. Some click, some dont. And the climax doesn't. What worked for me was the characters of leading lady, cook, doctor and some scenes like the tractor chase, tiger son part, shootout at the house. Definitely watchable but not praiseworthy

Rangitaranga seems to have been evolved out of 'pass the story' game. But it turned out good. It may be a fluke. It starts out like a ghost sighting on a lonely road. Suddenly we have a fan and a ghostwriter. It moves to a lonely mansion in a far off place. We are then told some urban legends. Suddenly there is disappearance of heroine whom no one has seen other than the hero (what's the condition called). Then we have flashbacks throwing stalking, identity theft and amnesia at you. When you feel there can be no more, we have a serial killer before the curtains come down. It's a cinematic asta dhravya. Take the prasadam.
