What a wasted opportunity! The patience needed for the film’s slow burn is not rewarded by the unsatisfying ending. I get that the filmmakers didn’t want to be cliched but, come on, give us a better ending than that. What was the killer’s motivation? Where’s the social commentary? Where’s the arc of the characters? It was nearly there but not quite.
