Show’s Ok. Many jokes and bits are pretty lame relative to Colbert and Kimmel. Fallon always seems so full of anxiety. When trump was destroying America, Fallon was slow to react. I don’t like denialism. I prefer realism.

A cultural leader for rational, intellectual America. If you support con-man trump, you probably can’t handle these truth-spewing sessions.

Movies need to be believable to be good. The dynamic between father and son is very believable as is some of the other dialogue, but many other aspects of the film are not. The movie is set in 2089, but more like 2890. Pirates on the moon? Ridiculous. Crew reaction to his unexpected arrival? No way. Random flight hiccup at the right time? Give me a break. I love when a movie surprises me however, and I thought we were building up all movie toward one thing, when it nothing like what people built it up to be.

I kept thinking about this for days after I watched it. My one suggestion is this... Scientists adhere to what Star Trek calls the Prime Directive. But he says he has learned that we are part of this world. So in the future, if you’re a scientist, it should be OK to intervene and protect animals from danger.

Powerfully realistic and disturbing similar to the level Heat achieved.

Paints a thought-provoking, beautiful and sad picture of humans’ failure and yet success as a species. There was only one sequence where I felt infuriated by it’s boring predictability, the inevitable damage repair.
