I wanted to like this, and I did, with the handy fast forward 2X and sometimes 3X on my Google TV controller. The pacing otherwise, is glacial. It's not that I can't take a slow build, and I tried the first few episodes at the usual speed, but wow, even though the world was being invaded things were still very dull down here. I found that I got everything I needed at the new fast speed and, when I goosed it up to 3x, got even more pleasure. Hyperspeed playback actually made the actors seem to move at normal pace - let alone the story - and who needed the dialogue with all that ennui?
