So most people saying they like this show is because it’s “thought provoking” and “sparks empathy for pregnant women”. Sure, you can say that(although I don’t really see it), but don’t give it a good review because of that. The show is quite bad and I’m struggling to even watch it. It’s like if I gave the new Velma show a 5/5 because they incorporated Asian and black people into the characters. I feel this should be common sense but apparently it’s not. 90% of the positive reviews are just saying they liked the new perspective it puts on social norms and is some type of brilliant social commentary, while in actuality it’s a social commentary done quite poorly and boringly. It’s just a company trying to be woke with a mediocre concept and awful execution. Most of the actors did a decent job is the only plus.
