SPOILER ALERT !!‼️ 🚨 The movie to me could have been a little better and the reason I said that is because there is some parts that they over did and also didn’t expand on enough. I feel it could have went further if it was a short series like Netflix does. Overall I rate it a 4 because I liked that it shows how black and brown girls are going missing and all that is posted is a flyer. The main character was a representation of all the colored girls, black, brows, native, Asian…. Partly because they never disclosed her background but you can clearly sees that she’s mixed. She’s a representation of the girls that not blonde hair blue eyes that the daily news is known to report missing. She’s everyone else. The demon is a representation of the typical sis gender white male that gets off on shady dealings thats hidden in the dark that the film is saying if we all band together and cast one stone at a time we will be able to bring these villains to light. The demon not showing his true face to the audience is also leaving it to our imagination that that face could be anyone around us. Just like his lawyer who sends him victims the wives who knows but is too scared and powerless to talk so she pretends all is well. It hits at a lot of people who wants to do well that knows something but they are all too scared. The Homeless who feel weak and helpless to speak. The good samaritan who sees and wants to go in charging and be a hero but is too afraid and ends up walking away. So many people who say something but couldn’t do anything and didn’t do anything. It shows what happened to those who tried to do something. It shows the corruption of the police force who helps take away the voices of these victims and turn them into criminals instead. Oh it said so much! It basically tells us we can only rely on ourselves to survive this madness that as women we are not weak and powerless just because we bleed out once a month but that we are stronger because of it. That we need to stick together and fight! That we need a safe place amongst each other to take care of each other. Plus get a dog who can smell and scare away a demonic D🍆. 🤣😂 Wish the end credits showed some of the hundreds of real victims who have gone missing.
