Tries to hard to be artistic and edgy, instead it falls flat on its face.

Had no prior thoughts on the franchise before watching this today. Absolutely woeful, shock value for the sake of it and terribly non-scary. Some of the humour is good, some of the gore is good too but overall just felt like a cheap 80s snuff film.

The acting is shoddy, the fight scenes poorly choreographed and the dialogue can sometimes be a little wonky. Yet, it is absolutely enthralling and I find myself becoming more engrossed and attached to the characters of the show with each passing episode.
