Ever since the release of the next gen games I have never felt in less control of my player. I feel like the company is utilizing content creators to push a narrative or pressure the fan base into succumbing to a new style of 2k Gameplay and the community hates it. The gameplay is slow and driving to the basket is impossible. The game forces you into mid range shots when you try to do a modified layup or skill dunk. setting a pick and roll is non effective and the players don’t even react to screens. When the big man rolls he is clunky due to a hand gesture. Also trying to stop your player to shoot is a rarity due to the clunky non user friendly dribble styles that force you into fades or goofy non useful dribble sequences before you attempt to shoot the ball. The shot contest system could use a slight nerf but I get the vision. I shouldn’t be seeing people dropping videos on how to glitch the game to do simple things like stopping and shooting or driving towards the basket. The journey to simulation has taken new heights that aren’t user friendly and it feels like I’m watching a basketball game and my parlay is on the line yet have no control over the outcome but in reality this is the worst next gen 2k of All Time. Hopefully the devs see this and realize people will not play a game mode or a game that they can’t physically control their inputs or game style. I am not buying any more my players or my team packs until I see changes in shooting, player movement / dribbling, and defense.
