This was a pretty good movie and good actors, but I can't help but think they got the idea from the movie Romancing the Stone with Michael Douglas & Kathleen Turner back in the 80s. Granted they made this movie funny, but I see a lot of similarities from the 80s movie where she was a writer and was a damsel in distress just like Sandra is in this one. If you have a chance and not familiar with Romancing the Stone watch it after watching this one and you'll see what I mean
