I found the Rise of Skywalker mostly boring, cliche and formulaic in its use of storm troopers. I suppose I need to remember that it is mostly geared towards a younger audience and that it is more fantasy than science fiction. Personally I didn't feel much during the movie. My two favorite parts were (1) a storm trooper shooting and actually hitting a main character and (2) the last line of the movie. I tried to appreciate the production and special effects, however I found the plot very contrived and predictable.
