All three seasons of Janet King are excellent. The plots are intricate and unpredictable, and the characters are well-developed. Great pacing throughout. I, for one, found the portrayal of Janet's lesbian relationships refreshingly straightforward (no pun intended). They're portrayed as close, affectionate relationships rather than spotlighted as "homosexual". I'd say that viewers who have a problem with the show's handling of the topic should probably look at themselves. For me, a newcomer to Australian TV programs, Marta Dusseldorp was a special pleasure to watch. The show features a lot of long, lingering shots of her face and stride. She's a beautiful human creature.
