Who was in charge of writing and lore? It’s not that hard to keep to what has originally been established, regardless of “time”, “storyline”, “budget”, etc. You’re Amazon, you have the resources to have done right. Maybe some time skips here and there, but it still could be done. It’s Lord of The Rings, there are so many people who you could have just asked on the streets on who should be where, what should be happening and what’s actually apart of the story. What gave anybody the idea you had to change it up? To make it more interesting? It already has been for decades. That’s why you tried to make a show, yet are showing you don’t actually care in the first episode alone. Also the CGI is an eyesore. Admittedly, I will still continue to watch the show. I am just not happy about the direction, writing, cgi, most the acting, missing/changed lore, etc. All that fun stuff.
